Cattle fermentation broth

Gut microbes are very important for the digestion cycle and milk production in cattle. The symbiosis between cow and rumen flora makes it possible to produce protein-rich products such as milk or muscle mass from low-protein food such as grass.

Please be aware that the larger quantities need fermenting and therefore the lead time can be up to 5-6 weeks.

Bifidobacterium: B. bifidum, B.breve, B. longum. Lactobacillus: L.acidophilus, L. delbrueckii, L. casei, L. reuterii, L. plantarum, L. lactalis. Sacharomyces: S. boulardii, S. cerevisiae. Bacillus subtilis, Streptococcus thermophilus.

How to use

Dairy Cows: 60ml per cow per day. Initial dosages can be double that.

Calves: 20ml per calf per day usually added to feed.
Newborn calves: can be sprayed with 100ml/1 litre of water, this solution will support the calf’s microbiome helping the calf to adapt to its new environment.

Cattle fattening: use 50ml per day per animal. Initial dose can be higher for the first month.
Add Microbz to bulk cattle feed mix 7litres per tonne of feed.

We also recommend spraying sheds and pens with Healthy Habitats to improve the general environment.
